Real Monarchs vs. OKC Energy stream: Can Monarchs make it three wins in a row?

The Real Monarchs have an opportunity Wednesday night to win their third game in a row. The Monarchs are riding high after 2-1 wins over Colorado Springs, and Seattle Sounders 2. They play host to the Oklahoma City Energy FC, who defeated RMSLC in Oklahoma City last month 1-0.

The Energy are lead by Danish forward Danni Konig. He has 20 goals, which is the best in USL, and has him on track for the league's Golden Boot. Oklahoma City have clinched a playoff spot, and sit atop the west with a 12-5-7 record and 43 points. They will want to keep that top position as they close out the season.

The Monarchs look to continue their better form, and finish off the season strong. With 20 points on the season, the Monarchs could move out of last place, if they secure their final nine points, as the Austin Aztex are now only seven points ahead of them.

They will be shorthanded however, missing Justen Glad, Sebastian Saucedo, and Christian Herrera, who are away with the USA U-20 team, and Boyd Okwuonu who is with the USA U-23 squad.

The two teams kickoff Wednesday at 7 p.m. Mountain at Rio Tinto Stadium.
