Kyle Beckerman, Tony Beltran and Nick Rimando have all unsurprisingly made the preliminary roster for the United States in the Gold Cup this summer, and Alvaro Saborio has made the list for Costa Rica.

Beckerman and Rimando have both been called into camps repeatedly by US coach Jurgen Klinsmann, and their involvement here is no real surprise. Alvaro Saborio
Rimando looks to be the first-choice goalkeeper for Klinsmann during the Gold Cup campaign; Houston's Tally Hall and DC United's Bill Hamid are the two remaining goalkeepers on the roster.
The absence of the four would certainly sap RSL's squad strength, but the roster is a preliminary one at this point. Rimando and Saborio are both involved in their respective nations' 2014 World Cup qualifying campaigns.
Rio Tinto Stadium will host the US National Team on July 13 when they take on Cuba.
