Real Salt Lake takes on western conference rivals (let's toss that term around some more, yeah?) Seattle Sounders at 4 p.m. in Tucson, Ariz., as the Desert Diamond Cup continues. You'll remember, Real Salt Lake drew 2-2 against New York Red Bulls last match, and there was a fantastic goal within the first minute of action.
As you prepare for the match, catch up on the latest from the Sounders camp with the Sounder at Heart — a tidbit of information: RSL foe Mario Martinez should see time in the second half. If you've not already read my rather brief match preview, hop on over to that now, too.
As always, lineups will be posted when available. Expect a veteran group from Real Salt Lake to start the match — in direct contrast to last match. It should be, as always, an exciting preseason affair. Unless it isn't, in which case, don't blame me. Or do.
