The Reign fired right back in the 23rd and 28th minutes off goals from Bethany Balcer and Rosie White, respectively.
After it was all tied up, neither team could break the other down, and the rest of the time was spent deadlocked. URFC took their time substituting, and Arielle Ship and Gaby Vincent eventually came on, but the score remained tied.
With a lot of personnel changes and uncertainty around the coaching situation, the Royals have had a rough season and find themselves still in 8th place. The team has a lot of talent, and there is hope for the future for women’s soccer here in Utah. As for today we will settle for a point and some hope.
